Welcome to the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violation Agency Driver Safety Programs. The Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violation Agency has mandated that you complete one of the classes shown above.
National Safety Council (NSC) offers Suffolk County Traffic Court drivers the most relevant, leading-edge driver safety content to motivate and educate you to be safe and responsible. NSC frequently updates our curriculum to keep the content current, relative and engaging.
National Safety Council will provide your successful course completion information to Suffolk County TPVA the business day following your class. Suffolk County TPVA will use this information to track completion of your court requirement.
For the Defensive Driving Class (DDC6 – NY PIRP) only, National Safety Council will also mail a Certificate of Completion to the address you provided within 2-3 weeks of the course completion and will electronically notify the New York State (NYS) DMV. If you are eligible, the DMV will automatically apply the point reduction to your driving record. You are responsible for submitting the Certificate of Completion to your insurance company, who will automatically apply the reduction to your policy.
