About the Program
National Safety Council’s Pennsylvania Mature Driver Improvement Course is a research‑based course, PennDOT-approved specifically for drivers 55 and older. The curriculum focuses on promoting safe driving habits, increasing confidence behind the wheel, and helping mature drivers stay independent on today’s roadways.
Under Pennsylvania law, drivers 55 and older are eligible to receive a 5 percent discount on their vehicle insurance by completing the Mature Driver Improvement Course. (Contact your insurance provider for eligibility details.)
