About this course
National Safety Council offers a research-based Online Mature Driver Defensive Driving Course that will refresh driving skills to help keep you safer and make you a more defensive driver.
Seniors are the most experienced drivers on the road, but to maintain your skills it’s important to refresh your abilities as you age. Our course is designed to combat the challenges of aging such as diminished vision, loss of hearing and slower reaction time. Roadway and vehicle design continue to change as the years go by. Learn how onboard technology can assist you in reaching your destination safely.
Our course immerses you in an engaging interactive experience that helps you improve your driving skills and become a safer driver.
Refresh your knowledge of safe driving practices and learn about new traffic control and roadway design features through a mature driver class.
The course is completely online and takes the average student about four hours to complete**. You can also log in and log out, if you’d prefer to take the class in multiple sessions, but the course will expire 90 days after you purchase it.
