Those with CDLs face immediate suspension if the Distracted Driving Program is not completed within 72 hours of assignment.

You will receive a referral / referral form from the TPVA judge or prosecutor in court indicating your course assignment and completion deadline date.

The online Distracted Driving Program is a 90-minute behavior-driven course designed to change drivers’ attitudes associated with distracted driving and using cell phone and other electronic devices while driving.  A self-assessment evaluates participant’s driving habits and defines content specific to their risk level.  The course educates drivers about the risks, dangers and consequences of cell phone use while driving and motivates drivers to change their risky behaviors.

Immediately following your successful completion of the Distracted Driving Program, a certificate is available for you to print. You may be required to provide the certificate to the court as proof that you have passed the course. Please refer to the court for specific direction.

If you choose not to complete the entire class at one time, you can bookmark your progress allowing you to pick up right where you left off the next time you log in. Your login will be valid for 30 days; you can log in and out as many times as you’d like during that period.

If you experience technical difficulties while completing the online course, please email [email protected] or call (800) 775-1484.

Each online DDP class completion will satisfy one TPVA referral. If you have multiple referrals, you will need to register for and complete a separate online course for each one.  The cost of each course is $25.

Note: To complete multiple online courses, you must create a new account each time, starting in the New User Registration box, with a new Login ID for each access code you’ve been provided.  For your future reference, write down each Login ID & Login Password you create for each assigned access code.
